we went 4-wheeling in Tuscany, me and mom rode together.

we had a hardship getting there, we could not find it so we asked for directions.  a man directed us to "Tuscana Quad." the gate was closed we drove around the back then came back to the front.  It was open we were all relieved but when we talked to them we realized we were at the wrong place, we were looking for "Crazy Quad Tuscana" so we drove on. we could not find it and by then it was an hour after out appointment, so we went back and rescheduled for noon ( previously at nine-thirty).  this time they gave us better directions but we were still on the point of giving up when we finally found it with the help of over the phone directions.
Mom and Dad had to wear funny neon outfits to keep the mud off

me and chris had to wear outfits too but not as weird (before)

this is me on the 4-wheeler (staged)

action shot in the rear view mirror, sorry about the mud it was very wet out.

we stayed at a complex of about eight to ten villas

These were taken in and near the giant rosemary bushes outside villa

the next day we went horse back riding it was very fun though i nearly got bucked off my horse... TWICE!!! and at one point mom's reared back on it's hind legs.

we had to wear polo helmets.

me on my horse

i found this snail out side our villa. when we left i put him on the table on our patio.
when we got back he was upside down on the bottom of the table.

next day we took a cooking class,  it rocked.

this is a picture of chris after chopping onions.

me chopping onions yummmmmm!!!!!

while we were stirring the sauce, chris flipped some onto another hot burner the whole room was filled with smoke.

me stirring the sauce or "ragu" as italians call it.
it is only ragu if it is meat sauce.
